Sunrise at Haleakala - Maui - Hawaii - August 2012

Right in the center of the photo, you can see the triangular pyramid-shaped shadow of the Haleakala volcano 

and just next to it, on the right, you can see the island of Lanai.

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, 

and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,

for each day to have a new and different sun.
