présent

(taking a stroll through Canterbury - Kent - England - April 2009)
Le présent se dégrade
d'abord en histoire, puis en nostalgie.
[Alain de Botton "petite philosophie de l'amour"]
The Present fades away,
and turns first into history, then into nostalgia.

Oh my. I think history has taken its toll on this structure, Namaki. What a find.

Incroyable!!
Et elle s'ouvre cette porte?
C'est un plus d'avoir garde le petit bout de coin de rue a droite..

Ahhh... like that quote Namaki. Suits the photo perfectly. Superb capture.

Extraordinaire !

Maybe the person who lives or works here has one leg alot shorter than the other, so he built the house that way for comfort... I'm not sure I want to see the staircase inside ! Or the kitchen ! Glad you liked the fierce moustache, thanks for dropping by... I just looked through alot of your past post photos... lovely work, I like your shots from Guadeloupe and Cornwall and Dover and Dinard and St Lunaire and... well, from all over. Even simple dandelions find grace and beauty under your lens... will be back ! Thanks !

I know I'm not drunk, or had any kind of alcohol, so I guess this building is bit.. bent.

Why is the door like that? I guess it is made that way. Nice pic. Makes you look at it for a second time. )

Ok, I'm just going to admit that I'm confused... been examining this photo for the past five minutes and still can't make sense of it...
Great shot... did you just stumble onto it?
I'm sure there've been a few stumbles into it ;)
